We are four days out from the first game of the tournament with travel and a pre-game session to come. Here is the session plan straight from the office for the crucial Tuesday night training at home.
WE DID IT! HISTORY IS MADE!
We return home from the XVIII @USClubSoccer National Cup as @STA_Soccer ‘s 1st ever National Champions!

Key Learnings
- Mid week session, right balance of volume and intensity for maintaining fine line between being sharp and fresh.
- Travel + altitude = increased chance of early fatigue if not managed appropriately!
- Keeping warm ups short and sharp in tournament in soccer is key. Otherwise 4 X 30 minute warm ups is like playing another game (and some!)
- Listen to your players, reports of muscle soreness is indicator of fatigue.
- Winning formula is in the details of meticulous preparation coupled with mindful competition management.
